Hawksyard Priory Nursing Home is located in the stunning Staffordshire countryside just outside Rugeley, 9 miles south west of Stafford. Built in 1889 the building was converted from a working Dominican Priory and is arguably one of the most beautiful care homes in the UK. This tranquil environment is the setting where our compassionate and professional team provide the very highest levels of nursing care to all our residents 24 hours a day.
With 103 beds over the 3 floors we have a full range of accommodation including Singles, Doubles, and En Suites to suit any care needs with residents able to bespoke the décor to make their rooms as homely as possible. All our rooms afford maximum comfort and TV’s and Nurse Call Systems.
The building is centred around a stunning central courtyard where residents can enjoy the sunshine in summer and provides an ideal venue for our regular fetes, tea parties and outdoor events. Visitors and families are encouraged and welcome to join us and their loved ones at any time. We also of course have our own church running down one side of the home.
Food is such an important part of everyday life for our residents the utmost effort is made by our team of qualified Chefs to provide a delicious and blanced rolling 4 week menu where we have 3 daily choices of main course and desserts. As part of every residential review we obtain a full understanding of dietary requirements and are able to cater for the full spectrum of needs from standard fare out to diabetic and allergenic etc.
